From the crowded city streets

Filled w/ strangers and passers-by

The road elevates and so does the view

The cityscape takes its protruding form

Sunset blasts fabulous shades of red

The building windows shine w/ gold

Golden rays of light from the west

Turning leaves its way of autumn

Blue skies & the spectrum of fall colors

It’s captured in this open bottle of wine

Gan Eden 1990 Cabernet Sauvignon

Now further from the city walls

Along a sleepy riverbed town

Up in its heights – in its refuge - away

From hurried steps pounding concrete

- Away from airplane bombs -

- Away from trained hatred -

- Away from dogmatic slumber -

In the refuge of sweet earth,

Abundant with unconditional nurturing,

The grass is green.  The grass is green.
