when I die will you care?
to my funeral, shed a tear
your glass and drink a beer
you think of me on sunny days
I'd say, "swim in deep blue sky".
you think of me in setting suns
football on the beach & having fun.
you think of me when rain falls down
I'd say, "it's heaven copulating w/ earth".
you think of me in the still deafening nite
world outlined w/ snow, & gently white.
you think of me when a fresh wind blows
wish I were that wind that blows, racing
time not knowing - just blowing, blowing
the crowd w/ spraying fountains.
you think of me when you feel music -
more potent than w/ money and wine.
alive - although I've died.
all around you from beyond.
no mystery for me - some beginning or end.
candles glowing, I turn to whisper to you all
on along, the gatekeeper’s son is a friend
