It's so simple.

My poetry

equals this.

There's this

fire.

It  burns.

It burns

for you.

There are

these eyes

and they

desire

you

But,

yet, again

ring true

& free

Always wanting

you

to be

a

shiny, brilliant

star

above (and

by example)the

celebrities

of our

paltry

world.

There's this

heart of mine

as big as Texas -

as big as the doors

of perception,

an ancient cathedral

-letting

people

thru-

sometimes

a little

broken

from use -

Just a token

for some experience.

Why?

Who do

you

let in?

It's that

simple.

I'm not sticking

around

for a dime

a dozen.

I need

roses

in my

life.

I -

stop -

& smell

- a pungency -

budding vines.

And know

how

to touch

w/ out

being stuck by

thorns

-And, if

I do,

I

lick

my red,

blue

blood.

It's that simple.

I respect you;

blades of grass.

We're all connected

so let's have a blast.

-I'll navigate so we last-
