Dear Greg,

So your mother likes men who can read poetry?

Well, that's an honest assessment and pretty cool, pretty neat = What a groovy, enlightened woman.

Maybe, if she has some of that case of wine left, I'll do a reading for her when I'm out West in a couple weeks. Yeah, the last reading I did was for a benefit for Roky Erickson http://www.rokyerickson.net/ which his brother Sumner put together and asked me to do and include a special piece for Roky.

By the way, Domenica Davis looked hot last nite 6/26 = A+++

And, yeah, I really dig that Anna David = she's hot and cool and seems wickedly smart and has allot of cute gesticulations = A+++

"I ran down to the levee but the devil caught me there
He took my twenty dollar bill and vanished in the air

Set out runnin' but I take my time
A friend of the devil is a friend of mine
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight."

Best of the Roses,
