BTW, California was so so so good to me from San Diego to Laguna Beach to Malibu and especially L.A.

I'm headed off to Chataqua Lake this morn for a week so, of course, I'll write more later and have some great pics to share too.

Well, okay, just a little more now .... For some reason I was upgraded to a cottage at the Chateau Marmont - And from the kitchen table in my cottage there I wrote allot of postcards & letters while listening to Bob Dylan's HWY 61 Revisited and drinking beers at 3:30 a.m.

While having lunch at the Chateau w/ this Hollywood agent I met a good friend of his, Danny, who owns National Lampoon.

Oh, and in LAX saw my new friend Julia Allison's name as News & Style Editor at Large in Star Mag - (which I never would have looked at or purchased if it wasn't for her. I figured if she was associated with it, then it's campy & cool) -

Rusted Root rocked out San Diego House of Blues and it was noted by Hollywood Emmy guy that there are always allot of young and younger people at the shows. Moreover L.A. was just really off-the-hook. I filmed this show as not only was I provided w/ a photo pass but also was provided w/ a video pass and shot both from "the photo pit" in between the fans and the front of stage (where I sometimes rested my arms on to shot but the place was rockin' so much that it was hard to keep my arms still).

Yeah, I kinda missed the Vegas gig in the pool at the Hard Rock Casino where the band was given a VIP cabana to hang out in as their comp rooms weren't ready yet) - somehow Hollywood Emmy guy and I couldn't leave San Diego and stayed there an extra nite - but that's okay because and met people who ended-up driving to the show in L.A. and I also got to go through Laguna Beach and visist my ex-girl Pamela who lives there now and just had a baby girl Olivia who she had me hold - And, well, of course the Vegas show went well -

California was so so so good to me =

Last Saturday morn when I was in San Diego I caught the end of Suzanne Malveaux on CNN as a fill-in anchor looking smoking hot having such an enthusiastic, professional and engaging delivery = A+++ BTW, California was so so so good to me from San Diego to Laguna Beach to Malibu and especially L.A.
