Among us all, this should be * "a priori" - However, since you are
vain people w/ the type of egos that like attention and praise = **
Here We Go - ("DMC and DJ Run - Dumb ditty dumb ditty ditty dumb
dumb - And right about now it's time to have some fun - Dumb ditty
dumb ditty ditty dumb dumb) -
Friday's Red eye show on 5/4/07 earns an A+++
Yeah, all the way around it was perfect.
I now don't ever have to watch again or email-in.
;)
Where should I start?
Julia Allison is a breath of fresh air. I don't think I ever liked a
personality on TV as much as I do her - (well, that cool web site
gives her some radiant depth too) - And, thus, she is someone I find
very engaging and dynamic. ... A one nite stand, fling, romance,
friends, just hanging out or, whatever, I'd probably take it if I
wasn't in some other "zone" or on some other "path" at the time.
In any event, Julia looked great in that pink suit jacket which
reminded me of the famous Jackie O Chanel suit that
Parker Posey wore in The
House of Yes. Fucking ehy, hey!!!
Rachel Marsden, that "house bitch" I dig, is always
entertaining. And, she is as sharp as a "whip" but also a little
"wacky" too and not so serious like her idol,
Ann Coulter, which makes her perfect for Red eye and more
accessible to the "chic-hip-shabby-sheik" demo it seems you're
trying to hit-over-the-head.
The camera work was definitely at its best. It gave a "user
friendly" look & feel which made me, the viewer, feel more connected
to the set and what was going on there --- almost as if I was a
viewer in a "live" audience and could look about w/ my own two eyes
at will.
Additionally, the camera finally hit a good number of full-shots of
that "Goddess" Rachel.
Kevin did not disappoint me and made me laugh just by going through
his facial expressions which always makes me think he's sitting on a
tack or has hemorrhoids and is uncomfortable sitting there or
something. (Maybe he's doing like a pouty Elvis imitation or
something - thinking that will help him as a "Brit" be more accepted
by *** "an American's eyes").
Is Bill gay or what? There are all these "gay" references toward and
for him. I like Bill even if he's "gay" = (happy) or a "fag" = (a
bundle of sticks).
Bill should do more of his street segments out in front of FNC's
headquarters - out around 48th & 6th.
He could be a singer in an alternative band.
"Alienated Andy" --- is he down in the basement or something? I
picture him all alone w/ the lights out.
When Andy held-up "fired alarm" on his paper and made the
Hollywood Squares reference - it was a good injection of
post-modern humor.
And, then there's Greg = his love of chimps; cute & cuddly "fuzzy"
things; strippers;
Lindsay Lohan; weed; drinking; drugs; throwing out a cheesy
"commercial" career at Maxim and Men's Health (although Rodale
Press in
Emmaus, PA is pretty cool and its whole start w/ Organic
Harvest Magazine is totally respectable) for a "cutting edge"
program on at 2 a.m. w/ its Motley Crue and break-through view of
the NEWS is definitely admirable -for someone like me.
**** "People are strange when you're a stranger..."
Greg is a "strange ranger" --- ***** but I like it. Yes, I do.
I dig the show - and, Red eye on Friday, May 5th, deserves an A+++
I'll never watch again.
* "a priori" is a term / concept which is used to define an
implied knowledge - a knowledge which doesn't need to be stated
because it's already intuitively realized --- For further interest
please see Walter Kaufman's book, Existentialism: from Dostoevsky to
Sarte - page 318 will help you out
** "here we go" ---- an unreleased bootleg Run DMC song
*** "an american's eyes" --- a line from a
Ryan Adams song off of Heartbreaker which is way cool because
the chorus goes, "come take me out --- pick-me-up, fuck-me-up, steal
all my records, screw all my friends, they're all full of shit, and
then do it again, with a smile on your face --- I wish you would
---"
**** "people are strange" ---
The Doors
***** "but I like it. Yes, I do" --- It's Only Rock & Roll by
the Rolling Stones
