Subject:  the girl & your father's law firm

She's the kind of girl that makes you want to take over your father's successful law firm which has history of him being called to Dallas to help defend Jack Ruby for shooting Oswald who shot JFK based upon a big win involving a temporary insanity plea where a son of a sheriff "shot the sheriff" (the father) and he got him off +$+ winning some of the biggest personal injury and medical malpractice cases in Western PA and, of course, handling nice estates and putting together great deals.

Growing-up I didn't quite understand what my father did, however, I could tell by the way people treated him and even treated me that he was someone special. Then, when I took my first economics class in high school and learned about the socio-economic ladder and its income levels, it put things into perspective. Sure, my father is no Warren Buffet or Bill Gates, yet, I was always amazed when I'd learn the length of his reach - Moreover, with the success of my uncle, my father's brother, in his medical practice which he had here in Western PA then moved to Hilton Head Island in the early eighties - and, then, my fabulously wealthy great Aunt (on my mother's side) who still lives in the house which is right by where Mr. Rogers lived until he passed and her daughters with her money and then married very well living in comfortable settings on Park Avenue in the Upper East Side and the other along Central Park West on the Upper West --- my background was like branded on my forehead or something.

From an early age on I had many girls who wanted to "get w/ me" and many mothers and fathers who certainly approved and encouraged situations like incubators for our young ways - Nevertheless, I managed to escape these women without major incidents or accidents and took my own path.

Did people like me and kiss-my-ass because of where I came from in life or because of me?
Not being mature enough to handle this at University, this question plagued me.

Now, I enjoy my confidence. I know who I am and love myself and my life of urban & country club business meetings and "all access" touring w/ my rocker friends and the well- rounded, engaging poet and documentary film maker --- with my lovely, little darling wife, Deanna the C.P.A and our blessed Lhasa Apso 3 year old Parker Bean --- although...

Although when I see a girl like Julia Allison there's something that says what would life be like if you were in your father's law firm and with a Julia Allison that all you do is work so she doesn't ever have to work and is very well taken care of and provided for so she could live a life of family, leisure, and charitable causes ???

And, then there's always the Devil's Advocate isn't there?!?
