Cast Aside Your Veil

Cast aside your veil my dear
We were shamelessly born naked
And naked is who we are
We cannot hide from the Sun
We are made to shine like Stars
And have traveled a great ways too far
Where the Moon lives and breathes
Without shackles or disease or false Gods
You can no longer hide in the moonlight
Your Persian empire is numbered in false session
And is crumbling from the sandy foundation it sits upon
There is no God which has to rely on war to win hearts
Just as there is no prophet who needs a sword to teach love
