Ok, showing up in the NY Times is probably a sign that the true organic appeal of Red eye for me is over -

Other clues include: Bill and Andy have been wearing ties and are more "TV friendly" - the camera work is more tight and less free - and what about the snobbery of thee?

I was going to send Rachel a copy of Quebec by Ween http://www.ween.com (Dean Ween is a great guy and I finely appreciate the brilliance and cutting edge essence that Ween has been able to sustain in the shallow world ...of, well, just about everything during its long career and "long strange trip") --- however, now, if anything I will send Rachel plastic poop from a party store.

I'm disappointed the way Neal was disappointed in the Dead Poets Society.

There always seems to be this unfortunate collective consciousness that brings about pressure instead of true freedom --- mediocre conformity instead of dynamic communion for individual truth & beauty & real organic breakthroughs.

Red eye used to be like going to church for me after midnite --- Now I will celebrate life & death and its cyclic glory in my own reliable fashion once again --- writing, playing guitar, reading meaningful words, watching moonlight illuminate and unveil the dark night for glimpses of exposed, vulnerable silence and poetic dreams of realism where imagination conquers fears of the unknown and passion of exploration of past, present and future blend together for a healthy cocktail which produces a stimulating effect of all the senses awakening with dawn in **Ecstasy: understanding the psychology of joy.

So, email me if you become cool again and not so overwhelmingly concerned w/ your "exit strategy" of selling out to have a more primetime slot or being more accepted in mainstream media. Or email me if you can get Eddie Vedder as a guest (I'd like to see his mere presence disturb Rachel to the point where she becomes either quiet or, on the otherhand, mad w/ non-sensible argument like that carpet munching dyke bitch, Ann Coulter)....

***"I'll be in my basement room w/ a needle and a spoon - and another girl to take my pain away --- take me down little Susie, take me down --- I know you think you're the queen of the underground --- but you can send me dead flowers every morning --- send my dead flowers by the US mail --- say it w/ dead flowers at my wedding --- and I won't forget to put roses on your grave" ---
