After creating such hype about "Prince" Harry going to Iraq - it looks bad he's not going.

  1. It's bad because it makes me feel like, "wow, it must be really fucking bad over there and our enemies, the terrorists, the insurgents, radical Islamic Muslims - well, if they're not winning over there than they certainly have the U.S. & Co. on our heels
  2. It sends a message to our enemies, the terrorists, the insurgents, radical Islamic Muslims that they are making a giant impact on the U.S. & Co. and only fuels the fire to press-on in the name of Allah
  3. All British soldiers over there are Princes and Princesses - And all the young soldiers in general are Princes and Princesses and it makes it look like this young lad's life is more valuable than anyone elses - And I'm sure people over there are thinking - this young lad who has had everything handed to him
Lastly, this just adds to my general disinterest in the Royals. I find them boring. And do not get the fascination. But then again, I think the fascination comes from people who are into fairy-tales.

I like Horatio Alger stories more so than fairy-tales.

Meanwhile, Harry is probably like, I can't believe this is playing out in the media like this - Oh, why am I always the focus?!" ...smiling in victory.
